*Trick training includes CONFIDENCE BUILDING, improved PROBLEM SOLVING skills, frustration reduction, enhances PHYSICAL HEALTH by incorporating specific fitness 'tricks' to improve PROPRIOCEPTION and BODY AWARENESS. (You will also learn what is proper form and why it is important, correcting posture, as well as how to use a variety of equipment and trick props for an arsenal of games, enrichment and exercises).

*Trick training can help with GROOMING, HANDLING, and VETERINARY CARE - from 'Shake-a-Paw' to having their paws comfortably held for nail trims.

*Trick training helps build your dog's value for YOU - more FOCUS, more FUN, more rewarding relationship while fulfilling their need for MENTAL STIMULATION and ENRICHMENT.

K9 FIT CLUB is all about fitness!

We offer canine-only fitness, fitness for YOU & your dog (Bow Wow Bootcamp / NamaSitStay), and Fitness for Dog Moms! Check out our WOMEN's Fitness & Yoga classes.

Fitness promotes longevity, health, wellness and quality of life physically mentally as well as emotionally.

Among a long list of other benefits, implementing structured fitness can help to ward off many different types of disease. It can help to prevent injuries while promoting muscular balance and alignment (good posture).

Canine fitness supports your dog's sports and other activities, and it can improve performance!

Fitness provides enrichment for our dogs and it is fun!

Learning good manners; how to be calm and confident, combined with a variety of activities, games and mental stimulation makes for a very successful formula and can be fun for everyone in the household!

Check out our Canine Life and Social Skills (C.L.A.S.S.) program if you are looking specifically for a manners (obedience) class. This program implements a variety of games and challenges to progress skills through the HS, BA, MA, and Ph.D. levels. This program is the path for Teams wanting to pursue Therapy Dog Certification.

THERAPY DOGS:

We have teamed up with The Lifeline Canada Foundation and their Companion Paws Canada Therapy Dog Certification program by providing temperament testing as well as final evaluations for them.

We also offer a 6-week Therapy Dog Certification PREP program that coincides with the final evaluation.

Dogs must be a minimum of 1.5 yrs old to become certified.

*Please take note that Companion Paws therapy dogs are designated companion dogs and will not be certified as service dogs.

Therapy dogs are companion dogs trained to provide affection, comfort and company and are not afforded the same legal privileges as service dogs.
