In-Home Day Training with Adele

Discover the convenience, efficiency and time-saving benefits of Structured Day Training.

Have you ever wished your dog could be trained by a professional? Perhaps you want the benefits of a well-mannered dog, but you simply do not have the time. This is more common than you may think.

Structured Day Training focuses on foundational skills such as:

• Manners

• Basic cues

• Leash skills

• Calm behavior

• Enrichment

• Confidence building

• Maybe even a few tricks

Day Training does not address behaviors that need to be managed or coached while they are happening, such as digging or counter-surfing. These concerns require active participation from the dog’s family and may be better suited to Private Training.

Adele will come to your home and work directly with your dog for one, two or three hours. Only one dog will be actively trained at a time.

Without a Walk

• 1 hour: $35 + GST

• 2 hours: $65 + GST

• 3 hours: $95 + GST

With One 30 to 45-Minute Walk

• 1 hour: $45 + GST

• 2 hours: $75 + GST

• 3 hours: $105 + GST

The walk is included within the total reserved appointment time. Its length will depend on your dog’s needs and the amount of training and care required during the appointment.

Additional Dog

$5 + GST per additional dog, charged once per visit.

Only one dog will be actively trained at a time. A maximum of two dogs may participate in a walk. Homes requiring more than one walk may require a custom quote.

Private Transfer Session for Day Training Clients

$65 + GST

Private Transfer Sessions are optional and exclusively available to clients who have booked Day Training.

During this session, Adele will teach you the cues and handling skills needed to reinforce and maintain your dog’s training from the human end of the leash.

This service cannot be booked as a standalone or discounted Private Training session.

20-Minute Let-Out

$20 + GST

Adele will visit your home to provide your dog with a 20-minute bathroom and care break.

Let-Outs are available in Lacombe, Blackfalds and the immediate surrounding area, depending on availability.

Additional Cat-Litter Scooping

$5 + GST

Cat-litter scooping may be added to a booked Let-Out, Dog Walk or Day Training visit.

This is an add-on service and cannot be booked separately.

45-Minute Dog Walk

$37 + GST

Your dog will receive a 45-minute walk tailored to their comfort, ability and individual needs.

The booking system will reserve one hour to allow additional time for harnessing, crating and related care.

Walks are available in Lacombe, Blackfalds and the immediate surrounding area, depending on availability.

Second Dog Walk Add-On

$5 + GST

Add a second dog from the same household to a 45-Minute Dog Walk.

A maximum of two dogs may participate in each walk.

15-Minute Pre-Walk Training Add-On

$15 + GST per dog

Add 15 minutes of individual training before your dog’s walk. Only one dog will be trained at a time.

When this add-on is booked for one dog, the booking system will reserve a total of 75 minutes for the appointment. Each additional dog receiving training requires another 15-minute add-on.

Public Outing with Adele

$45 + GST

This is a 45-minute appointment for one dog.

Public Outings provide carefully managed exposure to dog-friendly locations such as Home Hardware, Home Depot and Winners.

Up to 30 minutes may be spent inside and/or outside the location, depending on your dog’s comfort level and everyone’s safety. Outings may include people watching and positive exposure to automatic doors, unfamiliar surfaces, unusual sounds and other new experiences.

When appropriate, the remaining service time may be used for a decompression walk. If your dog becomes uncomfortable or overstimulated, the public portion of the outing may be shortened and Adele will provide decompression support instead.

Adele must have completed at least three regular walks with your dog before accepting a Public Outing. Dogs must be comfortable wearing a properly fitted harness.

Public Outings are for the dog only. If you would like to attend and participate, please book a Private Training session with Adele.

Statutory Holidays

Walks, Let-Outs, Day Training, Public Outings and related add-ons are charged at 1.5 times the regular rate on statutory holidays.
