Get involved in the exciting sport of Scent Detection!
Each week we will explore simple search setups, clear handling techniques, and beginner level scent hides that support curiosity and emotional regulation. Dogs work at their own pace and are guided through calm, choice based searches that help them develop a strong scent association and the early stages of an indication.
This program is ideal for dogs who enjoy sniffing, thrive with mental enrichment, and Teams who are looking to create a fun foundation before moving into more advanced scent detection activities.
We teach the dogs to locate target odor and create a variety of stimulating searches for them to learn the game.
When learning this sport for fun we teach you and your pet simple games that need only target odor and your dog's nose to be played ANYWHERE! The sport is both mentally and physically stimulating for your dog, making it a great option for rainy or cold days.
Classes are held at our training facility in Lacombe 5210 E Wolf Creek Drive
